Paper 4: Oral Communication
PSLE EnglishOral is worth 40 out of 200 marks (20%) of PSLE English, up from 30 marks (15%) before. The current format applies from 2025 onward and takes about 10 minutes: 5 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes for the exam.

Students read a text in a way that suits the purpose, audience and context (PAC) of a given situation. A preamble stating the PAC is provided.

The visual is now a real-life photograph instead of a poster or illustration. The two parts are not linked by theme, and there are only 3 main prompts.
